SAP Project Manager - Chennai Location

Position

  • We are looking for a talented SAP Project Manager ideally with exposure to S/4HANA and ECC with a very strong Management/ Leadership focus.

  • High achieving Project Manager to be part of our growing business and to support us in our expanding SAP Practice areas. Within Supply Chain, Finance and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Projects in SAP ECC6 and S/4 Hana environments.
  • Define the project and preparing high-level plan, budget and resource estimatesManaging all phases of project delivery from Preparation to Execution to Transition,ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout the project.
  • Managing the delivery of project milestones and deliverables and delivering an outcome that can achieve the benefits defined in the Business Case, at the appropriate level of quality.
  • Comfortable in all areas of Bid management from responding to RFP, ITT and RFI’s, to evaluating costings and resources through to submission of a persuasive compliant and compelling document.
  • Taking ownership of key areas such as methodology, implementation approach, planning,estimating), and coordinating consolidation of response, quality assurance etc.
  • Ensuring required resources are identified and available to the project, as required.
  • Leading and motivating project team members to ensure a sense of team and a clear understanding of goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and managing Stakeholders, ensuring regular and timely communications at all levels.
  • Managing Risks and Issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including Risk Register, Issue Register, Daily Log, etc.
  • Managing Change Control procedures and Project Governance and ensuring ProjectBoards are set up and working effectively.
  • Managing all vendors delivering to the project.
  • Adhere to AG policies, guidelines and standards in relation to Project Management.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience managing medium to large size projects
  • Project Management accreditation – Such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMI, SAFe
  • Experience of developing process maps, flow charts, user requirements documentation Experience of using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong experience of delivering projects across a wide range of technologies and complex IS landscapes.
  • Experience of all phases of project delivery from Preparation to Execution toTransition, ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout the project.
  • Experience of managing SAP Projects, in Supply Chain, Finance and/or EAMin SAP ECC and S/4 Hana environments.
  • Experience of the delivery of project milestones and deliverables and delivering an outcome that can achieve the benefits defined in the Business Case, at the appropriate level of quality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Highly organised planning and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
