Senior SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant - Chennai/Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced We are looking for a highly skilled SAP PM Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Project and Portfolio Management with hands-on experience in Portfolio Management, Project Execution, Resource Management, and integration with SAP PS and other modules. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective EPPM solutions aligned with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP implementations with a primary focus on S/4HANA projects. 
Establish and maintain strong project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational and project-specific methodologies. 
Create, maintain, and track RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues & Dependencies) logs, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution. 
Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. 
Facilitate project workshops, steering committee meetings, and status reporting for leadership and stakeholders. 
Coordinate with functional, technical, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. 
Oversee project deliverables, quality gates, testing cycles, cutover activities, and go-live readiness. 
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure continuous communication throughout the project lifecycle. 
Ensure adherence to change management processes and manage project documentation. 
Identify project deviations early and implement corrective actions proactively. 
Work closely with business teams to ensure solution alignment with strategic organizational goals.
 Support the design, configuration, implementation, and enhancement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) solutions. 
 Work on maintenance planning, work order management, notification processing, and preventive maintenance activities. 
 Configure and support asset master data, task lists, maintenance plans, and scheduling in SAP PM. 
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of SAP PM with MM, FI/CO, PS, and HR modules. 
 Assist in business requirement analysis and translate requirements into effective SAP PM solutions. 
 Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 
 Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, user training, and functional documentation. 
 Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with technical teams. 
 Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives related to PM. 
 Ensure high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction while following best practices. 
 Support end-users with training, issue resolution, and best practices. 
 Ensuring above all that clients receive exceptional service and quality.  
 Strong customer facing experience Working with our clients to Complete the necessary training with regards to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001   
 company succeed in achieving ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001. 
 Strive to be aware of processes and procedures to fulfil and adhere to requirements as required under the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001. 
 Responsibility for reporting, monitoring measurement, nonconformity and corrective action with regards to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001. 

Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Business, or a related discipline. 
 8+ years of experience in SAP PM implementation and support projects. 
 Strong functional knowledge of Plant Maintenance processes, including corrective, preventive, and breakdown maintenance. 
 Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. 
 Hands-on experience with PM integration with MM (procurement), FI/CO (costing), PS (projects), and HR. 
 Good understanding of maintenance cost controlling, asset lifecycle management, and reporting. 
 Experience across project phases including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
 Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. 
 Ability to take initiative in solution design and implementation. 
 Knowledge of best practices in function - reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.  
 Good general Microsoft skills across Windows 10 and the Office Suite.  

Preferences:

  •  Experience with SAP Activate methodology or other SAP project implementation frameworks.
  • SAP certification in PPM or related modules.
  • Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

• Round 2: Technical Round – To gauge the technical expertise of the candidate
• Round 3: Director rendezvous – Directors confirm if the candidate is a good fit for AG
