As part of AG’s aggressive growth and workforce-scaling programme for 2026–2027, we are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors & Payroll Functional Consultant to join our consulting team on a permanent basis. This role requires strong functional expertise across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM (including ESS/MSS) and Payroll, combined with proven experience working within a consultancy environment and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will work with clients to design, configure, and deliver integrated HR and Payroll solutions that enhance employee and manager self-service, streamline HR processes, and support organisational transformation.

Key responsibilities
Functional Delivery• Lead and support implementations and enhancements across SAP SuccessFactors, including modules such as:
o Employee Central
o Employee Central Payroll
o Performance & Goals
o Recruiting
o Onboarding
o Learning
o Compensation (desirable)
• Support and integrate HR and Payroll solutions within SAP S/4HANA landscapes
• Provide functional expertise across SAP HCM, including:
o Core HR / Personnel Administration
o Organisational Management
o Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS)
o Time Management (desirable)
• Design, configure, and support Payroll solutions (SAP Payroll and/or EC Payroll), ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational requirements
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into functional designs and system configurations
• Support the full project lifecycle including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support
ESS / MSS & User Experience
• Design and optimise ESS/MSS processes to improve employee and manager adoption
• Support workflow configuration, forms, approvals, and role-based permissions
• Ensure solutions align with HR best practices and provide a positive end-user experience
Stakeholder Management
• Engage with senior HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and requirement-gathering activities
• Act as a trusted advisor, clearly communicating progress, risks, and dependencies
• Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple workstreams or modules
Consultancy & Delivery Excellence
• Deliver high-quality outcomes across multiple client engagements
• Work closely with technical, integration, and project management teams
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution input, estimations, and client presentations (where required)
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice
Essential
• Proven experience as a SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant
• Exposure to S/4HANA environments and integrations
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP HCM, including ESS and MSS
• Solid Payroll functional experience (SAP Payroll and/or EC Payroll)
• Experience working for a consultancy or systems integrator
• End-to-end implementation experience across HR and Payroll systems
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical SAP solutions
Desirable
• SAP SuccessFactors certifications (Employee Central, EC Payroll, or other modules)
• Experience with integrations (e.g. SAP CPI, third-party vendors)
• Exposure to multi-country or global HR/Payroll solutions
• Experience with change management and user adoption for ESS/MSS
• Pre-sales or bid support experience
