SAP PS Consultant - Chennai/Hyderabad
We are looking for a talented Functional Consultant with SAP WM/MM/SD expertise with demonstrable experience of working on full life cycle ECC 6 and S/4 HANA projects.
Job Description
• The person taking up this position is expected to work as Sr. Functional Consultant - SAP Project System role in a SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Project for SAP. module and related integration with other modules.
• This role involves, (but not limited to) gathering business requirements, qualify business requirements, prepare high level design, validate design to avoid any conflict with existing system design, prepare detail design (blueprint), create functional specification for any development related to these requirements. Development includes RICEFW (means Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms and Workflow).
• SAP PS module scope involves all key features of Project Structuring, Time Scheduling, Cost Planning, Revenue Planning, Material Planning, Budgeting and Material Procurement etc. Developments in product execution and integration with various legacy systems. A thorough knowledge of integration with Finance/HR (Time sheet, FI posting), Sales, Material Management, Production Planning, and other modules of SAP is essential for this role.
Role Details
Person applying for this role must be able to take up following activities:
• Should be able to understand S/4 HANA business process related with SAP PS module and related integrations.
• Should be able to configure the system for new business requirements.
• Should be able to make and explain Function Specification for new development.
• Should be able to guide development team for desired developments.
• Should be able to create documentation as various stages: Design Document (business blueprint), Functional Specification, Configuration Document, Test Scripts & Test Results, Training document, Standard Operating Procedure as applicable.
• Should be able to build test script for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Should be able to test and record the test results for various stage of testing like Unit testing, Integration testing, Volume testing, User Acceptance Testing
• Should be able to coach and mentor team members.
Qualifcation
Person applying for this role must have following qualification / experience:
• Educational qualification: B. Tech /B.E./ M. Tech in Production/Industrial
• Total Experience of 8+ years with at least 6 to 8 years in SAP. Must have worked on at least 2 implementation projects and 2 global support projects. Experience of working in global support projects is a MUST.
• Knowledge of SAP PS all key functionalities are MUST. This includes but not limited to including Project Structuring, Time Scheduling, Cost Planning, Revenue Planning, Material Planning, Budgeting and Material Procurement.
• Experience of bud fixing and issue resolution in a global environment is a must and a critical skill.
• SAP certification in SAP PS is preferred. Knowledge of S/4HANA is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Project management tools such as Primavera and MS Project will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the Manufacturing and Construction Industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Authorization management / access control is preferred but not mandatory.
• Preliminary knowledge of ABAP is essential (debugging / logic understanding etc.)

• Round 1: HR Interview - To identify/cross check professional & personal details
• Round 2: Technical Round – To gauge the technical expertise of the candidate
• Round 3: Director rendezvous – Directors confirm if the candidate is a good fit for AG
