As an SAP FICO Lead with a focus on SAP Finance you will be a pivotal Leader of our SAP Digital Core team working to deliver projects and support to clients across multiple industry sectors. Key responsibilities
1.Delivery and Team Management• Liaise with clients to provide hands on delivery with full life-cycle project
implementation consulting expertise including assessments, blueprinting,
configuration, testing, data migration and go-live stabilisation.
• Lead a team of SAP FICO consultants, providing direction, guidance, and support
throughout project lifecycles.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans and
timelines to ensure successful project execution.
• Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and technology, to
optimise project performance and delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation
strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the
delivery team, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
2. Presales Activities.
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their business requirements and
challenges related to finance and controlling.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of
SAP FICO solutions in addressing client needs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals, estimates, and solution
architectures that meet client requirements and align with company capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on
leveraging SAP FICO solutions to drive business transformation and achieve strategic
objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Subject matter expert, minimum of 15 years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA or
ACCA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-4 full SAP E2E implementations with at least 2 implementations on SAP
FICO preferably in a lead role.
• Driven and enthusiastic, commercially aware, strong leadership qualities and team leader
experience.
• Strong FI/CO, Accounting and JVA experience. Experience with implementations of S/4
HANA would be preferrable as well as being able to articulate the improvements and
benefits of S/4 HANA to potential clients.
• Experience in working with interfaces and integration with third-party systems.
• Experience in preparation of blueprints and solution documents.
• Assume primary internal responsibility for the successful implementation under hard and
fast deadlines.
• Experience of undertaking feasibility studies for major IT developments incorporating
costs and benefits.
• Experience of assisting clients in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP
Functionality.
• Ensuring above all, that clients are treated exceptionally, focussing on delivering the
highest possible quality at all times.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Ability to oversee all the Functional consultants and to actively enjoy supporting and
mentoring Junior consultants.
• Proficiency in presenting to clients including webinars.
• Working with the team to align their own objectives with company objectives ensuring
uniform and measurable outcomes to help build the brand, build revenue and ultimately
help build a successful and profitable working environment.
• Comfortable as a subject matter expert providing Smart solutions and confident in your
ability to champion presales activities, celebrating successes and overcoming of
challenges by writing company blogs and sharing with the SAP community.
• Experience in a Utility / Oil & Gas sectors would be an asset.
